Making movies isn't that hard. First, you'll need to come up with an idea. Make sure that you have a strong, solid story as well. Once you've got that figured out, you'll need to create some sims, build sets and start filming. The easiest way to film in game is by pressing TAB (to get to Camera Man mode) and then V. Make sure your video recording quality is set to Medium and the size set to Medium as well. Those are generally accepted as the minumum quality and size of a movie. Once you've got all your clips, you just need to add them to and editor and tweak them, add some sounds and maybe some voice overs.
Currently I'm using Vegas 5, the full edition.
The only one I know of is Window Movie Maker. If you have XP, you can find it under Programs > Accesories. It's a great program to find your feet with and I made my first few movies with it. It does get limiting after a while but you'll be able to learn a new editor much faster if you have some knowledge of WMM.
First you'll have to record them. I use Audacity which is a rather powerful, free recording program. Once your clips have been recorded, you simply need to add them to the timeline in your editor and match them with your footage.
The best place to upload a movie is probably your simpage. You can now upload movies of any size up to 20MB which is very reasonable. If your movie is bigger than that, you could try uploading it to any of the sites mentioned here
No. I've got enough ideas as it is and since this is my personal hobby, it wouldn't be right for me to go and make movies for other people.
The best way to get rid of plumbobs is to make a sim who won't be in your scene the active sim. If you have Open For Business, then you can remove it with the cheat. You can also remove thought bubbles and relationship signs with nightlife by typing in the Showheadlines Off cheat
Well if you found it cool, chances are it took me ages to figure out and I'd rather keep that knowledge to myself. As they say, a good magician never reveals his tricks... or something like that.
Feel free to try for a part when I hold auditions. Please don't email me asking for parts when there aren't any auditions. I can't cast you in a role if I don't have a character that needs a voice.
I extracted the animations and added them to a hacked painting. You can get it here. Please read through the post for information on how to use it.
The fastest way is to sign up with Freewebs or Moonfruit. You'll get a small amount of webspace and some bandwidth too. But these sites are ad supported meaning you webpage will be full of yukky ads! So the alternative is to buy a website from a webhost. With startlogic you'll get 15Gb of storage and 250Gb of bandwidth at a very reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend them!
I wrote everything except for the fancy dhtml scripts myself in notepad. You'll need some knowledge of html and css. If you're thinking of making a site, I'd recommend these Tizag tutorials.
Yes well, since I don't do this professionally I'm bound to make some mistakes. Please notify me of the problem through the contact page.
Of course! You don't need my permission. You can find my link button on the Links page or alternatively, link to me with a normal text link.
You're kidding right? I use a lot of bandwidth for my own movies as it is, and hosting other people's movies would just use bandwidth that I am paying for. So no, sorry.
Linking to a movie directly is NOT allowed. This is known as hot linking and in essence it is bandwidth stealing, since that movie is using bandwidth from my site without any visitors actually visiting the site. If you want to link to a movie, rather link to either the music videos or series page.
Of course not. Subscribing to the mailing list only means that you will be notified when a new movie is out. Of course there are other benefits like high quality versions or seeing the movie before it is announced anywhere else.
No. Under no circumstance may you upload my movies anywhere. If you feel the need to share, please only share the link to either the series or music videos page.
This problem seems to occur when you have just the base game and no expansion packs. I'm not sure why because to my knowledge it shouldn't be EP reliant. So unfortunately I don't know how to fix it. Besides, these hacks are intended for movie making and you can't really make a good movie with just the base game.
All you really need is SimPE but you can't really use the program without some tutorials. Everything I know about SimPE I've had to learn by reading through guides and tutorials. So if you're interested in hacking I suggest that you go to some popular hacking sites and search for whatever it is you want to do.
